Observer Building 
The Building The Observer Building is located in Rowbottom Square, off Wallgate in Wigan Town Centre. Rowbottom Square is a small thoroughfare connecting Wallgate with Arcade Street. The Observer Building is a three storey building with basement which was constructed in 1913 and formerly housed the office and printing works of the local newspaper, the Wigan Observer. The interior of the Observer Building has stairs to all floors with offices leading off from two main corridors. All common areas within the building have been fully refurbished. We look after it, so you don’t have to. The Premises The individual offices and retail units range from 13m2 (140ft2) to 120.77m2 (1300ft2). With easy access to the heart of the town centre and the main professional centre of Wigan, the Observer Building gives a good all round base for both commercial services and retail. Transport & Parking. The Observer Building is within easy walking distance for rail, car and bus transport. Both Wigan North Western (West Coast Main Line) and Wigan Wallgate (Stockport to Southport Line) Stations are within a matter of a couple of hundred metres from the building. Wigan North Western Station offers long stay car parking facilities for any user and also within the town centre there are numerous multi-storey and flat car parks, many offering a reduction for season tickets.
