The Building
The Observer Building is
located in Rowbottom Square, off Wallgate in Wigan Town
Centre. Rowbottom Square is a small thoroughfare connecting
Wallgate with Arcade Street.
The Observer Building is
a three storey building with basement which was constructed in 1913 and
formerly housed the office and printing works of the local newspaper,
the Wigan Observer.
The interior of the
Observer Building has stairs to all floors with offices leading off
from two main corridors. All common areas within the building
